    Description

    Enhance the bass in your home theater system with the black Audioengine S8 8" 250W Powered Subwoofer. It features a front-firing linear port enclosure designed to minimize excessive noise, a down-firing 8" long-throw woofer with magnetic shielding, and an MDF cabinet enclosure. This design enables the S8 to reproduce a tight "punch" at high sound levels.
    The S8 also features a 250W Class D amplifier and a wide frequency response for enhanced sound quality and low distortion. It's stylish, compact 11.25" cube design will complement the flat-screen TV in your home theater setup.
    Powerful 250W Class D Amplification A 250W Class D amplifier makes this subwoofer well suited for most situations.
    Front-Firing Linear Port and Down-Firing Woofer Design This subwoofer utilizes a front-firing linear port and down-firing woofer designed to complement front surround systems and micro component systems.
    Advanced Protection Circuitry This subwoofer offers Output Current Limiting, Thermal Over-Temperature, and Power On/Off Transient Protection, which help ensure that sound reproduction will be clean and well defined.
    Wireless Ready If you decide to place this subwoofer away from your powered speakers or surround receiver, the optional Audioengine W3 wireless audio adapter offers the ability to incorporate wireless bass in your home theater system.
