    Description

    The BlackVue Tamper-Proof Case is a security accessory for Blackvue DR490, DR590, or DR590W Series dashcams. This tamper proof case is designed to fit windshields at an angle of 20° to 90° with the horizontal.
    The BTC-2A is a tamper-proof case for BlackVue dash cams. It fits over the housing of the front unit and prevents formatting or removal of the SD card. It blocks physical access to the microSD card slot, prevents unplugging of power or coaxial cables, GPS antenna (if installed), and rear camera cables, and removal of the dash cam from the mount which greatly reduce therisks of data tampering. It also limits the angle of rotation of the dashcam in its mount, so the camera always aims at the road.
    The articulation/rotation of the camera is also limited by this case so the driver cannot rotate it 180° to face the interior. This may be useful for fleets as well as private cars as it makes theft of the camera and footage much more difficult.
    BlackVue's tamper-proof cover slips perfectly over the front camera and locks in place with two allen-head screws (allen wrench key is included with each tamper-proof kit).
